Human Behaviour Change for Life cofounder Jo White is a passionate change maker, Jo applies the science of human behaviour change to create meaningful, measurable improvements for animals, people, and the planet. With a proven track record of translating complex challenges into practical, evidence-based solutions, Jo brings a systems-thinking approach to every project - whether it’s designing behaviour change interventions, leading campaigns, or developing educational strategies.

Jo’s work spans behaviour change, research, campaigning, advocacy, communications, and training, with a particular specialism in animal welfare. From grassroots initiatives to international programmes, Jo has delivered sustainable impact through thoughtful planning, stakeholder engagement, and creative problem-solving.

The other half of this dynamic duo Suzanne Rogers has spent the past 15 years as a specialist consultant in animal welfare and human behaviour change. Prior to this, she held various roles that collectively shaped her path to becoming the co-director of HBCL alongside Jo. With a longstanding fascination of the behaviour of animals, including humans has been a continuous thread throughout her diverse career, fueling her own professional development and interests.
