Dr. Christina Coker Odom was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She is Texan through and through being a fifth generation Texan! Dr. Odom attended Texas A & I in Kingsville to receive her BS in Animal Science. She went onto Texas A & M and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1994.After receiving her D.V.M. from A & M she started her own clinic, Longview Vet Hospital. She owned and operated Longview Vet Hospital for 18 years. Dr. Coker Odom specializes in preventative surgeries and medicine. She was named Best Veterinarian of East Texas several years. She relocated to Lubbock, TX. Her new clinic, Animal Medical of Wolfforth opened in January 2012.Dr.Coker Odom is a lifetime member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. She is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, the Harley Owners’Group, The National Rifle Association, Ducks Unlimited and the Texas State Rifle Association.Dr. Coker Odom has 2 daughters, 1 son and 3 cute as can be grandchildren. Her hobbies include horses, bird hunting, riding her motorcycle with any willing passenger in her sidecar!
