Dr. Clarence Bagshaw III is the owner and veterinarian at Edgefield Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Bagshaw is from Connecticut and graduated in 1978 from the University of Rhode Island with his M.S. degree in animal science specializing in wildlife diseases. Afterwards he worked at the Savannah River Ecology Lab until 1981, where he decided to become a veterinarian and went to the University of Georgia graduating in 1987. After graduation Dr. Bagshaw worked for an after hours emergency clinic for ten years before opening the Edgefield Veterinary Clinic in 1996. On his Wednesday off from his own practice Dr. Bagshaw works at the Aiken SPCA doing surgeries, he also works very close with Canine Shelter Rescue, taking animals that have been neglected and transforming them into healthy pets so they can be adopted and find loving homes.At Edgefield Veterinary Clinic our emphasis is on quality medicine, surgery and dentistry.
