We are a full service animal hospital and veterinary clinic equipped to provide for your pet's wellness and complete care. Our staff focuses on compassionate and quality care for you and your pet. Tyson Animal Hospital was established in January 2006. Our main focus is compassionate and quality care of our clients and their pets. Every effort will be made to insure that you and your pet receive the best care possible.We offer many services to our clients as a fully staffed hospital, we are capable of in house diagnostics, hospitalization and surgical procedures. We are a fully staffed hospital and are capable of in house hospitalization and surgical procedures.Dr. Dishman graduated from NCSU College of Veterinary medicine in 1998 and has been practicing medicine since that time. She is proficient at diagnostics and surgical procedures.Some of the procedures offered at the hospital are listed below:- Spay/Neuter- Vaccinations- Radiology- Dentistry- Ear flushing/cleaning- Abdominal surgery- ACL surgery- Hospitalization- Feline Hyperthyroid- Acupuncture.Acupuncture is the placement of very small needles at key sites along pathways known as meridians. Meridians correspond to the nerve pathways documented in both Western and Eastern medicine. These points are used to stimulate a site and relieve areas of stagnation and improve circulation around that point. Acupuncture can be used as an alternative treatment to many common problems. Some of the conditions that benefit from acupuncture are listed below: Arthritis, Urinary Incontinence, Seizures, Sinustis, and Asthma.Tyson Animal Hospital offers a full service kennel. Indoor/outdoor runs are available and will be utilized weather permitting. Your dog will be walked several times daily and fed according to your schedule, either once or twice daily. The kennels are cleaned thoroughly each day. We also offer another service known as play time. If you would like for your animal to have individual attention and play time you may request so at check in. If you would like your pet to be bathed before discharge, please let us know and we will be happy to provide you that service. Cats have their own boarding area. Playtime is also available for your cat which includes time on a screened in porch.Our Hours: 7am-6pm Monday - Friday 8am-12pm 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.
