From humble beginnings as Alaska Veterinary Surgical Services (AVSS) in September of 1996, we have grown steadily into the multiple specialty, multiple doctor practice currently known as Veterinary Specialists of Alaska (VSOA).Originally established by Dr. Mike Edwards, the practice has expanded from a surgery service to include physical rehabilitation and veterinary dermatology.Although our name has changed to reflect the broadening scope of our practice and our family has grown, our goals have remained the same. As always, our number one goal is to provide you and your pet with the most advanced treatment options available.
